FORT WAYNE, Ind. -- Buchanan offers driver recruiting incentive to employees - the employee who recruits the most new drivers will win a Vegas vacation! Plus, each recruit an employee brings in will earn them $1700!
The contest will run June 1-30, 2018.
The 4-day/5 night Vegas vacation will include hotel, flight, food and 2 shows of your choice.
Terms and Conditions of Drawing:
1.Buchanan refers to Buchanan Hauling & Rigging, Inc. and any affiliated companies: Shellback, Buchanan Specialized and Buchanan Logisitics.
2. The contest begins June 1st, 2018 and is available to all Buchanan Employees, Drivers, Owner Operators and Agents. Contest ends June 30th, 2018. Whomever gets the most recruits in the month of June will receive the prize.
3.. Buchanan executives, family members, and the recruiting staff (Scotty Hepler, Michael Beiswanger, Michael Hayner and Nicole Cherry) are not eligible for the contest.
4. For each driver referral hired or contacted by Buchanan, the referring contestant will receive one entry into the Vegas Contest. In the case of a tie, we will do a random drawing to determine the winner.
5. The new driver applicant must not have worked for Buchanan within the last 90 days to qualify.
6. The driver applicant must be hired or contacted by Buchanan and graduate from orientation to qualify as a referral and gain you one entry.
7. The winner will have the option of receiving a cash prize of $1,000 versus accepting the Vegas vacation
8. Winner is responsible for any costs associated with trip not included in the package. Buchanan will provide vacation package, 2 flight tickets, food for two, hotel room and 2 shows of winner’s choice. Does not include gambling money or alcohol.
9. The fair market value of the prize, vacation or cash, is taxable income to the winner as nonemployee compensation. The winner will receive a 1099 and is responsible for any associated fees.
10. The contest winner must be an active driver, owner operator, employee, or agent at time of contest end or drawing to be eligible (active- employed or under contract).
11. All driver referrals must be in writing and submitted through the recruiting department. The candidate must receive a valid confirmation number from the recruiting department to be eligible to win.
12. Buchanan Hauling and Rigging, Inc. reserves sole authority to determine eligibility and reserve sole discretion to resolve any contest rules/conflict in the best manner for Buchanan and the contestants.
13. Buchanan will have a 3rd party administer the drawing
14. The Winner cannot assign his/her rights. Vacation must be taken by winner and their guest. Trip cannot be re-assigned.
15. The Winner agrees that he/she must use his/her vacation time and will not be on Buchanan assignment during the vacation. Buchanan is not responsible for property damage, theft, loss or personal injury sustained by the Winner of his/her passenger during the Vacation.
