Fort Wayne Company Set to Illuminate 2024 NBA All-Star Event with Glass LED Court Delivery

It’s no secret the NBA is a leader in driving innovative traditions to basketball fans worldwide, and well, it’s also no secret that Buchanan Hauling & Rigging just loves to drive.

Now, we are particularly proud to have played a role in transporting the court for the upcoming All-Star game. Buchanan Hauling & Rigging specializes in large and heavy hauls, and this fits the bill. Broken up into 6 square pieces containing a total of 192 elements, each weighing roughly 1000 pounds, this ASB Glass Floor, or Lumiflex, will include 6 different trips to get the court in its entirety to its final destination of Lucas Oil Field. The court itself is two layers of laminated safety glass, each 5 millimeters thick with an opaque surface and endless designs provided by built-in lighting and LED panels.
Since 1996, Buchanan Hauling & Rigging has been involved in hundreds of heavy hauls and shipments including moving a 185,000-pound press machine from Georgia to Mississippi, and a 180-foot beam across the state of Florida.
